Simple Origami

School's out and you have nothing to do. It's hot outside so you want to stay inside while it's cool so why not make some cool origami! Origami is a Japanese art of folding. Although the origins are unknown one thing that is for sure is that it dates back to thousands of years ago. Making origami can be somewhat simple depending on the design. You can make many different characters and animals, like a bunny. If you're up for the challenge you could fold up the most lovable character, Hello Kitty. Wanna know something even cooler? You can even make origami shapes out of a dollar bill!
Loving origami already? Then check out one of the following links to find out how to make your own origami figures: http://www.origami-resource-center.com/free-origami-instructions.html http://en.origami-club.com/ http://www.origami-fun.com/simple-origami.html

Check back weekly to see other activities you could do while school's out. I'll be sure to post at least every other few days.
